Statement of Faith

The following are the foundational beliefs on which Dickson Academy is based:

 

We believe the Bible to be the only authoritative Word of God.

We believe that there is one God, creator of all things, who is eternally existent in three persons:  Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.

We believe that salvation is by grace through faith alone.

We believe in the spiritual unity of all believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.

 

Dickson Academy does not promote or endorse any particular denomination.  Our statement of faith is based on fundamental Christian beliefs that we support as primary doctrine.  Other doctrinal issues upon which this organization has no official stance will be considered secondary doctrine, and there shall be no attempt made by Dickson Academy to promote or disparage individual beliefs or positions concerning these issues.  We desire to remain united in the life of Christ, avoiding any dissension which may be caused by denominational distinctives.
